Do I need to live in Hungary to have a Hungarian company?
No. A Hungarian company needs a registered office (seat) in Hungary – this is exactly what we provide. Members and directors can live abroad. If they do not have a Hungarian address, the law requires a delivery agent, which we can also provide.
Most of the process can be arranged by email and phone. Hungarian anti-money-laundering rules require client identification before the contract is signed – our colleagues tell you exactly what is needed in your case.
What is a delivery agent and do I need one?
A delivery agent (kézbesítési megbízott) receives official documents sent by the Hungarian authorities on behalf of a foreign member, director or supervisory board member who has no Hungarian address, and forwards them – we send them scanned by email. It is mandatory in these cases and has to be named in the company registration. Read more about the delivery agent service.
Can you help with company formation and accounting?
Yes. Besides the registered office we offer company formation, changes to company details, accounting and tax consulting. How is my mail handled?
With your authorisation we receive the letters and parcels sent to your company, notify you by email and, as a convenience service, send you the contents scanned. You can follow everything in our online management system.
Can I cancel the service?
Yes. You can terminate your registered office contract at any time without negative consequences – there is no lock-in.
